Hybrid – Bluebell

The BlueBell is a cross between a Maran, Barred Plymouth Rock and Rhode Island White. The colours are slate, dark or smoky grey, almost blue hence the name. They have a very placid nature, laying around 250 to 300 brown eggs a year depending on their conditions. Not a pure breed but with great character and looks and being an exceptional egg layer makes this a very versatile and popular hybrid.

Cost per Pullets (point of lay): £25

PERFECT POULTRY WEBSITE CLOSURE

We have decided to close the doors at Perfect Poultry after 23 years of assisting and supporting poultry keepers.

Our founder Ian ran it for 18 years and when he passed, I had the pleasure of running it for the next 5+ years. I’ve had a wonderful time and have met some awesome people, and several have become good friends.

I would like to thank you all for your support over the years and I am just sorry I am not able to continue to bring you the selection of breeds for you to choose from, I so much enjoyed doing, but I am looking forward to enjoying my retirement.

The website etc. is for sale and if anyone would like a turnkey opportunity and make your hobby into a fun, exciting and mutually rewarding future, please give me a call on 07599 036612.

Warmest regards

Stuart
